Cartwheels, flips, splits and aerials…what a dream! It’s time to stop dreaming, as this is a fun class assisting in the development of confidence, strength, flexibility, muscle tone and fitness through correct training methods.
Our acrobatics classes focus on teaching students a multitude of different skills, including: tumbling, core stability, strength, technique and flexibility. We also teach students tricks and skills that are commonly associated with acrobatics, including: biranis (no handed cartwheels), backflips, aerial tinskis, somersaults, bendbacks and cartwheels.
All of our acrobatics classes are taught with a strong focus on safety and this is something that our teachers take very seriously. All tricks and skills are taught using correct technique and proper safety equipment in a controlled environment. Only when students are ready will they progress to the more difficult tricks and skills.
Acrobatics students are encouraged to wear comfortable and fitted clothing that is easy to move in, as well as supportive footwear (such as runners or sneakers or acrobatic shoes).
